Rochester City Council to resume evening meetings

Rochester City Council to resume evening meetings

The Rochester City Council will resume evenings beginning next Monday.

The regular meetings, held on the first and third Mondays of the month, will begin at 6 p.m. (an hour earlier they their pre-pandemic start time).

The council had been hosting its regular meetings at 3:30 p.m. for the greater part of the past year. Study sessions — council meetings in which members discuss topics, without taking any informal action — will continue to be held at the time. They will now be held weekly.

According to the city, all meetings will continue to be conducted remotely during the month of April. Agendas, details on viewing options, and instructions on how to submit public comments are available here.
