Parking meter enforcement resumes Monday in downtown Rochester

Enforcement of downtown parking meters resumes today.

The return to the usual order comes as more businesses prepare to reopen their doors, including some restaurants and bars (for outdoor only). A moratorium on parking enforcement had been in effect since March 23.

Downtown employees are encouraged to find alternative parking spaces rather than occupying meters spots.

Meanwhile, enforcement of residential parking permit zones remains suspended for the month of June.
