These Rochester art teachers are finding creative ways for their students to shine

On this special Thursday edition of the Rochester Rundown, Isaac talks with two RPS art teachers who were recognized by their peers for going above and beyond during distance learning. The shuttering of in-person class brought numerous traditions and projects to a halt, but Tiffany Erie and Lisa Becker — both art teachers, albeit for different age groups — found their own ways to give students opportunities to express themselves.

In recognition of National Teacher Appreciation Week, we bring you their stories of improvisation and perseverance, plus their thoughts on the importance of giving students a creative outlet — all included in this week's Rundown, presented by Altra Federal Credit Union.
