Wild Bill's in Rochester abruptly closes

Wild Bill's in Rochester abruptly closes

After a decade-long run serving up beers and burgers, Rochester’s Wild Bill’s Sports Saloon, 300 17th Avenue NW, has closed for good.

The business announced the abrupt closure in a post Monday to Facebook: “To all of our valued Wild Bills’s customers and friends. We regret to inform you that we are closing our doors for good,” the post read. “Thank you for your years of support! We will miss all of you!”

It is unclear how many employees were left out of work as a result of the business closing. The Wild Bill’s chain continues to operate locations in Apple Valley, Blaine, St. Paul, Woodbury, and Fargo.

Its former Rochester site was assessed at $1.8 million in 2021.
