Nolander resigning from RAEDI after two years on the job

Ryan Nolander is resigning from his position as head of Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc. (RAEDI), the organization announced Tuesday.

Nolander’s last day on the job will be September 30. He plans to pursue a career in the commercial real estate industry locally after leaving RAEDI.

“RAEDI has continued to grow and serve in many key ways under Ryan’s leadership, and I’m grateful for his dedication and service to the organization,” RAEDI Board Chair John Wade said in announcing Nolander’s resignation.

Wade said the organization’s executive committee, in consultation with the board, “will be reviewing specific steps to commence a search for a new leader.” More information will be released at a later time.

Nolander joined RAEDI in 2018, replacing longtime president Gary Smith.
