P-B newspaper staff moving to new space in southwest Rochester

P-B newspaper staff moving to new space in southwest Rochester

After nearly a century downtown, the Post-Bulletin is moving its newspaper staff to southwest Rochester.

The paper’s Jeff Kiger reported Friday that the staff will set up offices on the second floor of the Think Bank complex at 1698 Greenview Drive Southwest. Think will continue to operate out of the first level.

The move, which should be completed this fall, comes as the paper’s former owner, Small Newspaper Group, works to sell the paper’s downtown building. Kiger said a deal is “in the works,” though no formal announcement has been made.

The paper was purchased earlier this summer by Fargo-based Forum Communications. The sale did not include the building. As part of the deal, Forum moved the P-B’s printing operations to Red Wing.
