Heavy snow expected overnight Monday
Another round of snow is on the way.
This time forecasters say southeast Minnesota could be hit hard — with 6 to 10 inches possible Monday night into Tuesday. A winter storm warning will remain in effect from Monday at 6 p.m. through Tuesday at 9 p.m.
Making matters worse, blowing and drifting snow is also likely across open areas through late Tuesday. The National Weather Service advises:
The impacts to travel with this next storm could be significant with roads going from slippery to hazardous to even treacherous in a short amount of time. Plan now. Be prepared to delay, adjust or cancel travel.
