Ready to chill at SocialICE?

Ready to chill at SocialICE?

For the past two years, #SocialICE has morphed into #SocialMelt.

But this year, event-goers can expect the dazzling ice sculptures to remain intact. The forecast shows temperatures in the teens and single digits each of the three nights of SocialICE. That's a big dip from the spring-like weather that warmed up crowds during the past two events.

SocialICE returns to Rochester's Peace Plaza this Thursday through Saturday (the event is being held a week earlier this year). The winter festival — which draws tens of thousands of people downtown each year — will feature nine ice bars, each with a unique theme and specialty drinks.

Details on the event can be found here.
