Fusion Lounge set to open in the former Top Shots space downtown

A new downtown bar has plans to open by the end of the month.

Fusion Lounge is taking over the former Top Shots space at 316 S. Broadway. Top Shots shut down in early April 2017 and has sat empty ever since.

The owners of Fusion Lounge declined to tell us much about what they have planned for the space, saying it's part of their "marketing plan to be somewhat vague and mysterious." However, based on images published to Facebook, it appears the space has been renovated from top to bottom.

"It will be a comfortable environment to hang out in with a variety of entertainment offerings and a unique approach to drinks and other things," the business told us via email.

The ownership team includes Jeff Fieseler, owner of nearby Legends Bar and Grill. Legends is operating on a month-to-month lease with the city while plans are worked out for a new $180 million waterfront development.

Fusion's hours will be 3 p.m. - 2 a.m. daily. Once an opening date is set, additional details will be announced via its social media pages.
