Brad Jones accepts job in Washington state

After 13 years on the job, Brad Jones is stepping down from his position as executive director of Experience Rochester.

In an email Monday, Jones said he has accepted a similar position in Bellevue, Washington. His last day at Experience Rochester, the new name of Rochester's convention and visitors bureau, will be August 15.

"I am forever grateful and have enjoyed by time in Minnesota's Rochester," said Jones. "I am certain I am leaving you in capable hands and I know Experience Rochester will continue to do amazing things," he added.

Jones said he will work with staff and the board during the transition.
