Dunkin' Donuts says it will add four new locations in Rochester

Dunkin' Donuts is expanding its footprint in Rochester.

The Massachusetts-based restaurant chain announced a deal this week with Donut Kings, LLC to add four new locations in the Rochester market. Under the agreement, Dunkin' Donuts plans to open the first of the four coffee shops in 2019.

Rochester already has one Dunkin' Donuts location. It opened downtown along 1st Avenue SW in 2014

"As we expand throughout Rochester over the next several years, we hope to attract new customers, as well as longtime fans of the brand, and show them the premium products and quality service we have to offer," said Oliver Schugel, co-owner of Donut Kings, LLC.

Dunkin' Donuts, a fast-food provider of coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches, will be expanding into a market already served by multiple chains — notably Starbucks, Caribou and Dunn Bros.
