The annual Rochesterfest parade had a new route this year to complement the event's move to Soldiers Memorial Field Park.

More than 100 groups participated in the mile-long march through the Historic Southwest neighborhood Friday night. 

Local photographer Josh Banks captured the entire parade on a time lapse camera. Here it is in under three minutes (still photos by Marie Ferguson):
