Farmers market looking for artists to paint mural in downtown Rochester
(THE MED CITY BEAT) - The Rochester Downtown Farmers Market is now accepting bids for a mural at a busy downtown intersection.
The city recently granted the organization permission to add a mural to a garage on the corner of Third Avenue SE and 4th Street SE. The building is adjacent to the property where the outdoor markets are held.
Interested artists can submit bids and design proposals to David at rochfarmmkt@hotmail.com no later than noon on May 11.
The first outdoor farmers market of the season is this Saturday.
